DETAILED PROGRAM:

DAY 1: Meeting with guide at hotel and transfer to railway station for express train to Samarkand. Upon arrival to Samarkand start sightseeing:

• Gur Emir Mausoleum
• Registan square with Ulugbek, Sher Dor & Tillya Kari Madrassahs

Lunch at local restaurant. Continue sightseeing:

• Shahi Zinda complex of Mausoleums
• Meros handcraft center with unique opportunity to learn the secrets of Samarkand Silk Paper making.

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 2: After breakfast continue city tour:

• Siab Bazaar (closed on Mon)
• Bibi Khanum Mosque
• Saint Daniel’s Mausoleum-the place where dreams come true

Drive to railway station for train to Bukhara. Boxed-lunch at the train. Upon arrival accommodation at hotel.

• Free time in Bukhara

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3: Breakfast at hotel restaurant. Full day sightseeing of Bukhara:

• Ark Fortress-the residence of Bukhara Emirs
• Samanid’s mausoleum
• Poikalon complex with Kalon Minaret, Kalon Mosque & Miri Arab Madrassah
• Trading domes: Taki Zargaron, Taki Telpakfurushon & Taki Sarrafon
• Lyabi Hauz complex with Nodir Devon Begi Madrassah

Lunch at local Chaihana.
Overnight at hotel.

DAY 4: After breakfast drive to Khiva through Kyzyk Kum desert.

• Have a stop at the desert to take photo of flora and fauna of Kyzyl Kum

Lunch at local chaihana in the desert. Arrival to Khiva and accommodation at hotel.

• Free time in Khiva

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5: Breakfast at hotel. Full day sightseeing of Ichan Qala-inner city of Khiva with:

• Kalta Minar-“small tower”
• Kunya Ark fortress with money stamping and prison
• Islam Khodja Minaret-the tallest tower in Uzbekistan
• Juma Mosque with 212 wooden columns
• Tash Houli Palace and Harem

Lunch at local house with national cuisine.
Drive to Urgench airport for evening flight to Tashkent. Arrival to Tashkent. End of services.

Check-in time at hotels at 14:00, check-out time-12:00.
